The World Today In a highly competitive business world and being part of it myself for over a decade, wherever I see, the current model is too focused on making money. Man is this greedy little specie inhabiting the planet doing whatever he can to outdo other to constantly become richer. The last few hundred years has built on an idea of a business whose main purpose is to maximize profits at all costs. Everything else is secondary. At all costs I say because these establishments grew in strength across the world along with its flawed support systems giving rise to extreme major problems that we are now trying to find solutions for. Diversity Leads to Unity Over the years through my understanding of Nature, Business, Philosophy and my own life's circumstances, I came to an interesting conclusion that Diversity in all areas is the essence of a harmonious living. A living being that not only sustains, but thrives. The term diversity means a varied surrounding with differences in each and every component that ultimately forms the unified model or picture. Let us visualize a grand orchestral recitation; a melodious composition can only be produced by the synchronization of diverse instruments very often originating from different countries coming together. The Choice Of Education Let us for a moment imagine your child seeking your help to “Make A Rainbow”. And let me try to guess the outcomes. 60% of you'll may guide him to do a drawing or a craft depicting a rainbow 30% of you'll may guide him to use light prism with the hero of a water bat mirror etc. But what I do hope is there will be some exceptions who may help the child to make a real rainbow, outdoors, with the help of a water jet sprayed towards the sun over a still water body. As a parent myself, the above percentage is a matter of concern about the future of our children. We make thousands of decisions in the hope that it will result in a future for children that is full of truth, beauty, justice and goodness. WIRES!! The world today as we see it has become a web of wires and signals. We live in a globe that is constantly connected, but stopped truly communicating. We have been exposed to terms like detox of the body through various diets, detox of the mind through meditations but there seems to be a more urgent detoxification, cleansing, needed in the world today and that is a digital detox from time to time. Last year we spotted an interesting workshop on Digital Detoxification which was attended by over 70 people (including 40 children).
